Kuroneko Artist Bio

Kuroneko refers to a few bands and artists:

1) 96猫 (96neko, Kuroneko), is a an utaite (Nico Nico Douga singer) who is well-known for her husky lower range vocals. However, she is also able to sing in a very cute feminine voice. She is a notable “ryouseirui” (a person who is able to sing in a feminine and a masculine voice).

She is also a member of CLΦSH with Shuujin-P (囚人P), and Team Pet Shop (チームペットショップ) with Kogeinu (コゲ犬) and vipTenchou (vip店長).

She is the singing voice of the character EIKO from the anime series Ya Boy Kongming! (2022).

2) Kuroneko is a hardcore/powerviolence band from San Martin de Porres, Lima, Peru. The band is formed by Manuel Contreras (guitar / voice), Daniel Llamoja (bass / voice) and Angel Ballon (drums). The band was formed in 2017 after finishing a previous project called Emmett Brown, results of skate outings, graffiti and fleeting shows in 2 de mayo houses where Daniel was in charge of the guitar and voice and Manuel of the drums. Kuroneko was the formalization of the ideas, style and work method that had been developed in Emmett Brown, then after months of rehearsal in the same formation, they contacted Angel Ballon, friend of time, to get the fast and aggressive sound they were looking for in the drums. By that time they were only 17, 18 and 19 years old. It is with this formation that they begin to get involved in the extreme hardcore scene sharing the stage with bands like Dios Hastío, S.F.C., Poncho Negro, Disposición Negativa, etc. Towards the end of 2018 they start working with the independent and self-managed Lima record label LaFlor Records and at the beginning of 2019 they release the single “Misógino” as a preview of their debut album “We Are Part Of The Disaster” which premiered on June 7th of the same year.

3) Kuroneko are a 3 piece rock band based in Scotland that were formed in late 2004 by their frontman Ramage for the purpose of rocking out all the songs he composes.

Ramage met his fellow band members Paul and Casey through playing in many bands ranging from kick ass fizzy pop to the heaviest of metal.
