Lucien Artist Bio

There are two groups of musicians who currently go by the moniker, Lucien.

Lucien formed in 2004 by Greg Hell from UK punk band Mr.Zippy and grind band Angelfuck along with Viktor Hemgren (Construcdead, Maze Of Torment, Månegarm, Sorg) and play “Hellrock”, very heavily based in bands such as Hellacopters, Gluecifer, MC5 etc yet with a very raw punky egde and a very dark, melancholy almost goth/emo feel.

Lucien is also an independent classic rock musician based in Lincroft, New Jersey. He compares his music to, “… John Lennon waking up, playing guitar like Joe Satriani with Steven Tyler’s outrageous stage flamboyance.” He started his music to address the issue of the lack of classic rock in present times.
