Max Gueli Artist Bio

Max Gueli is an Italian (South African born) Producer and DJ based in Rome, Italy.

He began his musical career as a small time DJ based in Stellenbosch and Cape Town for small time venues and local bars/pubs at the age of 17. At 21 he moved his skills to Europe and eventually to the UK at 23 where he began to learn the realms of sound engineering and music production. At 26 he decided to leave the UK and return to Rome to further his production skills and has been based there even since.

Max’s styles range from progressive house/trance, with the added element of rich percussive grooves and minimal elements. However, he hasn’t limited his taste to other styles and genres and has composed several chill-out, drum&bass and even rock tracks, be it his own productions or collaborations with other fellow producers and friends.
