Michelle Owen Artist Bio

Michelle Owen has been a DJ since 1998. Half Italian and originally from Sydney Australia, she moved overseas to pursue her career in music which led her to live in Ibiza (2007) and now Berlin. She has played in Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, China, and England.

Currently working on new music with James Flavour from Dirt Crew, collaborating music with Samim and Mguel Toro’s new music blog, crashroots.com and working on her first solo EP.

For the last 10 years Michelle has been involved in the music industry to some extent. Working for Beatport.com (Berlin), Buzzin Fly Records (London), Phonica Records (London), SONYBMG Australia, Eyelash Records (her own label 2002-2005), worked in records stores ‘Central Station’ and ‘Savage’, hosted on radio shows, ‘Rhythm FM’ and ‘FBI’ (Sydney).
Michelle started early and at the age 15 he was volunteering at recording studio ‘Damien Gerard Sound Studios’ as assistant sound engineer. This lead her to work with some great Australian bands like, ‘The Church’ but all the passion started when she bought her first electric guitar.

She is now living in Berlin and producing music.
