Mutex Artist Bio

Mutex was the name of K3V!N Dyn’s first solo project. It was a sort of side-project to Painful Passion. Most of the tracks were produced in 2005 or 2006, during the early days of Kyn3ticXR. The files are still around, but unfortunately, all of them were recorded in extremely low quality (32kbps).

Mutex was originally intended to be an “industrial music” project, but because of a lack of equipment (as well as talent), this never came to be. A few songs were completed, the magnum opus of which was Fraq, the most layered track credited to this name, and also probably the only one that some might consider “industrial”. Other songs experimented in jungle, noise, and ambient. These songs have been made available on archive.org. Fraq and HJB (from K-PDT: Eirkora) are also available. Read more on Last.fm.
