Nausica Artist Bio

Nausica is an international formation and located in Arnhem (NL) since 2009. The band includes the Polish frontsinger and pianiste Edita Karkoschka, the Austrian drummer Daniel Karelly, the Dutch guitarist Tim Coehoorn and their newest member, German bassplayer Marius Mathiszik.

The bandname Nausica and one of the first songs called “Toxic raindrops” is in homage to the Japanese anime film “Nausicaa – the valley of the wind” produced by the Ghibli Studios. This inspiration was the starting point to create their own music.

After releasing a short demo cd in 2010, Nauscia is going to record again in 2011 and release a special preview of their new recordings this summer! Tourplans for 2011 through the Netherlands, Germany and Poland are made and will be published soon. Read more on Last.fm.
