Paco Maroto Artist Bio

Reputed Dj/Producer from Barcelona with more than 14 years of experience behind the turntables. His career began in the 90s. After playing with different kinds of music, Paco Maroto paied special attention to the energetic progresive house music mixed with fresh, elegant and stylish grooves. Nowadays his great sessions of TecHouse music with cheeky and effective electro sounds are the reason of the fusion and evolution of this music styles. His mixes have taken him to clubs like , El Divino (Ibiza), BUMB (Rotterdam), Ibiza Club (Toulouse-Francia), Totoloco (Francia), Excess (Bulgaria), Club LifeHouse (Bulgaria), Pacha (Barcelona), Pacha (Sitges), Eibisi (Granollers), Cosmic Club (Girona), Blau (Girona), Lokotron (Barcelona). Right now, he holds residencies in Merci After Club and “Lokotron” (Barcelona) Clubs. Also he combines his residencies with Numark sponsor and important promoters like “Madness Group”, “Event Music” and “All Stars”. “Sweet love Dj´s. – Good Vibe” was one of his first productions and it went to Tribal Spain Recordings. Also its included in well-known compilations like “Matinée 2005”, “Sundown 05”, “Madness 05”. Now he is one of the Fresco Records producers team (created by “J. Navas & D. Amo”). His last production for this company its called (Electronic Electro-FRE06). This work has the support of renowned djs: “Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo, “Sasha”, “John Acquaviva” (who has included it to his “Back 2 Basics” compilation), in the early days it has been licenced in France by Cyber with Royal Flush Records and included in Technics 2006 compilation. Andrea Bertolini and Wally López have just done remixes of it, being a license for the label of Armin Van Buren (Armada).
