Igor Tchkotoua (Pig) and Dan Duncan’s careers in dance began while working at major recording studios in London and Berlin. When not producing pop records, they were using the equipment to hone their engineering skills that they would later apply to their own productions.

After joining forces in 1999 their tracks started to appear on mix CDs for Renaissance and on tracklists for DJ’s like Laurent Garnier and Deep Dish. More recently the pair have gained favour in the tech-house arena from heavyweights like Sven Vath as well as Loco Dice and M.A.N.D.Y.

Pig&Dan now have releases on Cocoon and their own label Sonic Society, while on the remix front they have worked with Oliver Koletzki and Underworld (who both appear on the podcast).
