PYN Artist Bio

Pyn is the name of 3 artists:

1) PYN left her home town in Friesland (Northern Netherlands) several years ago and moved to Haarlem to pursue her musical dreams. She released her first EP ‘The Rider’ in September 2016. The EP featured the title
track, which currently has over one million streams online.

2) Pyn is a Japanese female doujin music vocalist. Doujin Circle: aftergrow, 38BEETS.

3) PYN is an “Arabian Progressive Punk Improvisation” Trio of Yann Pittard, Tatsuya Yoshida, and Mitsuru Nasuno. Their studio debut, “Songs For Children Who Don’t Want To Sleep” was released by Yoshida’s Magaibutsu label in 2015.

1) The second EP ‘The Water’ will be released this year. The EP is produced by Sebastiaan Dutilh from the electro duo CUT_. PYN explains: “‘The Water’ is my reflection on heavier themes, such as social pressures, political and other hardships that young adults like me are struggling with.”

PYN loves to work with other young artists to amplify the EP with more than only the music. Right now she is busy designing her own swimsuit with fashion designer Ceoni of ‘Karel & Kees’ and she makes short films with filmmaker and photographer Ehlana Polgara. ‘’The process of creating these things make me understand my music even better.’’ Read more on Last.fm.
