There are multiple artists with this name:

1. Pyramid is the alias of Etienne Copin, an electronic music producer, remixer and DJ from Lyon, France. He started releasing music in 2011 and has since released several EPs on the labels Technofavrik, Kitsuné and Record Record. He founded his own label, Space Designer on which he released the album Signals in 2021. 2. Jazz fusion band from Japan formed in 2005 by guitarist Yuji Toriyama, drummer Akira Jimbo and pianist Hirotaka Izumi. They released their debut album, PYRAMID in 2005 and followed it up with TELEPATH+以心伝心 in 2006 before going on hiatus but resumed activities in 2009. They released subsequent albums Pyramid3 in 2011 and Pyramid4 in 2018. Hirotaka Izumi passed away suddenly on April 26, 2021 but the band continued as a duo and released their fifth album PYRAMID 5 in 2022.

3. Progressive metal band from New York, USA formed in 2017 by bassist Lance Sawyer. The band acts as a collaboration between metal musicians and vocalists including guitarist Mike Abdow of Fates Warning and Tim “Ripper” Owens. They independently released three albums, Mi Rage in 2017, Gold Tooth in 2019 and Amnesty in 2020. Subsequent albums have been released on Sleaszy Rider Records including Validity in 2021 and Rage in 2022.

4. Psychedelic rock band from Nürnberg, Germany formed in 2014. Inspired by bands like King Crimson and Black Sabbath and influenced by modern bands like Colour Haze, Sleep and Fu Manchu, Pyramid create their very own soundscape where hard driving riffs meet psychedelic sound worlds, far away from all earthly concerns. Their debut album Mind Maze was released in 2019 and was followed by their sophomore album, Beyond Borders of Time, released on Subsound Records in 2024.

5. Indie rock band from North Carolina, USA. They released two albums, The First American in 2005 and Small Arms in 2010. The band also composed music for the comedy film The Foot Fist Way (2008) which was co-written by band member, Ben Best alongside Jody Hill and Danny McBride. www.myspace.com/pyramid

6. Progressive metal band from Barcelona, Spain formed in 1998. Their music is influenced by Dream Theatre and heavy metal bands from the early 90s, but their music can mostly be described as progressive metal with many rhythm changes and the band members improvising at will, paying little attention to melody or the arrangements. They released their self-titled debut album in 1998 followed by The Immaculate Lie in 2000. Their third album, Gaudi’s Legacy is a concept album inspired by Antonio Gaudi, a Gothic inspired Spanish architect (1852-1926) and was released in 2002 after which the band split up.

7. German acid rock project from Cologne, Germany. Their only release is Pyramid, featuring a single 33 minute psychedelic krautrock song, Dawn Defender, an obscure studio project produced by Toby Robinson aka The Mad Twiddler. The recording is from circa 1975-76 but was first released in 1997 for the underground label, Pyramid which was operated by Toby and his friend Robin Page.

8. Electronic dance project by Enrico Zabler. His only release to date is the song Round and Round from 2000.

9. West London production duo and DJ/MC consisting of Nicky D’Silva and Scott Maclean, currently signed with the award-winning Funkatech Records.
