Regent Artist Bio

There are two acts known as Regent.

(1) Regent, Berlin (Germany)

Berlin-based disc jockey & producer.

Regent’s sonics blur the lines of early techno nostalgia and effective innovation, merging elements from both to form the anthemic narratives his records are known and played for. Regent’s blueprint for melting rapid grooves with distinct cerebral layers & far-out samples has been manifested in numerous records released on key players such as ARTS and Mutual Rytm. The steady output of timeless yet avant-garde material optimised for peak tension has put Regent well on the map of new forces emerging from the German capital.

(2) Regent – Death Metal Thrash from Thessaloniki, Greece

Regent were formed in 1990 as Crucifix in Thessaloniki. They play brutal and technical Death metal. They have played live a lot with quite known groups. For example in 1991 they supported Sodom and in 1992 they supported Napalm Death when they were in Thessaloniki.
