Robert Junior Artist Bio

Watch out Christian Hip Hop! There’s an illmatic producer out there making noise in the Concrete Jungle. He’s bringing that grimy, concrete jungle style to the scene. Don’t underestimate him or his skills cause it will shock you. Robert Junior is considered a scientist in the Industry. Artists who have work with him call him the “Scientist(he creates in ways you’ve never thought of doing) and sometimes the GOD inspired Producer(he depends on GOD for everything).”

Robert Johnson aka Robert Junior, born in Hampton, VA in 1974 and raised in Newport News(Bad Newz), VA. He grew up in the projects of Stuart Gardens; where his mother bought him his first keyboard and he spent hours after school practicing. Later, his passion for playing the keyboard turn into a love for turntables and rapping. Influence by his cousin Jerry Golden(J-Ski); who was a DJ at the time, he would spend all his after school time practicing scratching and rapping at his cousin’s house. The big step came when he bought his first set of DJ equipment and became a DJ for his brother’s group “Da SleepWalkaz”, which consisted of 12 members. Later, he packed up and headed out to Hawaii and decided to start his own production company called “Lighthouse Productions”. After four years on the Island, he packed up and established his new location in Washington state. It is here where he changed “Lighthouse Productions” to “Word Fire Records” and gain some exploding artists. That being said… Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome Robert Junior: Da GOD Inspired Producer.
