There are at least two artists with the name Sebastopol.

1. An English alternative rock group (active 2011 to present)

2. A Spanish indie band (active 2004 to present).

1. Sebastopol is an English three piece alternative rock band formed in 2011 by Nick Powell (vocals and bass guitar), Phil Richards (guitar) and Tom Standage (drums and percussion). The band’s name “Sebastopol” comes from the non-standard guitar tuning used consistently by Richards. The band signed to Warm Fuzz Records in June 2012 and release their debut album “Hello All Stations, This Is Zero” on 3rd September 2012, mixed by Mick Glossop.

2. Sebastopol is an indie inspired band that grew up in Santiago de Compostela (Feb. 2004, Spain).

Their setup: Bass+Drums+LeadGuitarVoices+Programming (C. Lopo, P.Saavedra, A. Moussa, C.Casiopeo).

They recorded their first demo in novembre 2004 titled “Amigos del Silicio [mqt04]”. They started up a local tour in 2005 and at the end of this year they recorded their 2nd demo “El Soñador Profesional [mqt05]”. Their 3rd demo was released by the end of march 2007 titled as “La canción de Sebastian Paul [mqt07]”.
