Simon Latham Artist Bio

Dance music veteran “Simon Latham” has been one of the voices of the progressive house genre since its very birth. Originally recognised for his work in UK band Soundsation, his stand out vocal sitting respectfully on Dave Seamans Mix of the Renaissance Part 4 compilation way back in 1996 with “Do you feel it?” ending the year being named as one of John Digweeds favourite tracks of the year on Pete Tongs Essential Selection.

Despite his continued work on various smaller dance labels only recently has he seen demand sound once again rise, notably with his collab with NYs DJ Eco “What do you see?” which was picked up by Armada and via a remix by Ashley Wallbridge seeing its way onto Armins “A State of Trance” radio show.

Since then he has focused his work onto many rising stars such as Espen Lorentzen with who he shared a release named “Heart”, their follow up track beginning the second half of Sied Van Riels “Rielism” compilation. At the same time re-teaming up with his old Soundsation partner Pete Lunn as “Lunn & Latham” to offer his
“Electric” EP.

In a bid to dig deeper he now teams up with Spark7 with his next release “You wanted more” on Ispirato where the lyric is crafted into a deep meaningful tune, a vocal that he himself claims is one of his best to date.
