Some Chemistry Artist Bio

Some Chemistry is Ridzert Beetstra, a music connoisseur, DJ, producer, promoter and blogger from Amsterdam. He is the ambassador of the Next Monday’s Hangover events and also curates the underground PRISMA events at Studio 80. He writes about Amsterdam’s finest parties on Overdose.am and posts daily discoveries on his Today’s Anthem.

Ridzert Beetstra was raised in Africa and South America, where the rhythm got in his system. At the age of 14 he sharpened his sense for melodies and harmony playing as a (bass) guitarist in several indie and rock bands. As a youngster he perfectly fitted the indie description; playing bands, checking out concerts, partying at festivals, ‘being cool’. When he got more into electronic music he started developing a fine taste for the underground and progressive scene.
