SØS Gunver Ryberg Artist Bio

SØS Gunver Ryberg (b. 1979) is a Danish producer, composer, and performer. Ryberg’s studio material covers a variety of electronic music subgenres, such as ambient, idm, industrial, and techno. Awarded several times for her work, Ryberg received a BAFTA nomination for her collaborative effort with Martin Stig Andersen on the multi-award winning puzzle-platformer adventure video game Inside developed by Playdead in 2016. Other than studio work, she is also known for sound installations and stage performances.

Her characteristic style is recognized for challenging one’s state of consciousness by transformative music experiences with insistent rhythms, combined with a meticulous exploration of textures and timbres.
