Sozonov Artist Bio

Sozonov was born in Tyumen, the capital russian Oblast in Westsibirien, in 1984. His musical career began in childhood, when he had studies in piano and violin. This was his first love with music. After finishing music school, Artem became interested in music production using computer programs and electronic elements.

Since then, he has produced material in tech-house, electro-tech, techno, minimal-techno, and minimal in his 10 years as a successful DJ/Producer. In 2004, he began to release his material on different labels (Malatoid records / Eletkrotribe / Kangaroo / Artefekz Muzik / DP-6 / AK Tek Records / Carica). On 2008, ” About It We Are Silent” (W/Monique Fessl Remix) was release, instantly becoming a hit for real tech lovers.

On January 0f 2009, Sozonov will release his latest material under Artefekz Muzik titled “They are in Wires”, which includes the (un)expected beats of the electro-minimal tune “Thoughts Aloud (Original Mix)” (a minimal freak must-have).

You can see how Sozonov combines a strong sense of horror-minimal-techno that will lead you to discover sounds that otherwise would never be heared in such style of music, proving that he is becoming one of the most innovative electronic producers today.
