Sy Sez Artist Bio

Sy Sez is one of London’s underground heroes. From his humble beginnings playing on many of London’s pirate stations, local warehouse & house parties through to being a resident DJ for brands like Soul Heaven, Ministry of Sound, Stereo Sushi & Groove F.

Sy Sez also known for his productions under his own name aswell as the AphroDisiax brand, and the more recent aliases Truu Colours & Says Who? Has released music on a catalogue of labels including Defected, MN2S, Soul Heaven, BBE, Ministry of Sound, R2, TRIBE, Seamless, BlackSoul Music, Love Not Money, Entail, Foliage Records + more.

Last year Sy took on the role as A&R manager with Soul Heaven Records (who he is resident DJ for ) they were recently bought out by Defected and Sy works on the front line with the A&R team hunting the next big track & has been involved in release projects with the likes of Osunlade, Miguel Migs, Opolopo, Sonny Fodera + more.

2015 has been a busy year for Sy Sez again and seen him play at prestigious events & venues worldwide such as 360 in Dubai, ADE in Amsterdam, Soul Heaven at Ocean Beach Club in IBIZA – his regular Summer Ibiza residency, Vortex in Tisno Croatia, MiSoul Radio Festival in Ibiza & the amazing Groove Fest in Dominican Republic, a new summer residency now for Sy Sez lining up with some of the biggest names in dance music – 2014’s GrooveFest saw Sy play the closing festival set back-2-back with Radio 1’s Skream.
