The Cut Artist Bio

The Cut was a norwegian New Wave band, who had some success in Norway and Germany in the early 80’s, (1980-1984). They are most known for the German cover song “In Dieser Stadt”.

Volker Zibell: vocals,Don Buchanan: guitars, Torgrim Eggen: bass guitars, HC “Kikkan” Fossum: keyboards , Atle Gundersen: guitars, Arne Lund: drums,
Other members: Ivar Eidem, Rune Annaniassen, Anders Sevaldson, Gøran Andersson.

Other bands with the same name:

The Cut were formed in 2002 and released one 5-track EP in 2003 before ‘disappearing’ halfway through recording a follow-up in 2004.

Despite rave reviews and a sold-out EP, the band (who never really ‘split’) have not worked since.
