Tickle Torture Artist Bio

Tickle Torture is Elliott Kozel. Elliott Kozel is a producer, engineer, and multi-multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, MN, currently working out of Los Angeles.

From Kozel’s Instagram, a post featuring all of Tickle Torture’s album art: “These are the Tickle Torture albums/singles I wrote and produced! A very special passion project wherein I attempted to be a shitty Prince! I can’t express how lucky I feel to have had such an extraordinary group of people helping me create these live shows and albums, there are too many to name but I want the world to know that it wasn’t just one man, but a huge group of 30-40 extremely talented and energetic people who helped create many magical nights of entertainment”

He cut his teeth as a DIY punk rocker in the Minneapolis music scene [Sleeping in the Aviary], eventually moving into pop production for other artists in the area such as Lizzo and Hot Freaks.
Recent highlights include SZA and Jean Dawson’s “No SZNS”, Yves Tumor’s “Praise the Lord Who Chews…”, Eartheater’s “Sugarcane Switch” from her latest album Powders, and the Ghost With Skin album from cult icon Corbin (FKA Spooky Black). In addition to producing for artists, Kozel has also been busy scoring for television, working alongside Finneas and Jasper Harris on the third season of Dave (Hulu/FX). Other recent collaborators include Ekkstacy, Mø, Indigo De Souza, Provoker, Nick Sylvester, and Roddy Ricch. Read more on Last.fm.
