Tim Morrison (www.tjmmusic.com) creates soaring tales fertile with questioning hopefulness, pragmatic defeatism and romantic promises and threats. Morrison stamps his songs with a singing voice that can race from a shaking lament to a clarion wail in an octave scaling heartbeat.

Morrison’s work mines a reality grounded in jarring, personal upheaval and liberating, fresh starts. It’s a new terrain where fragile, rocket fueled ballads simmer alongside bubbling, tongue in retro-chic, dance rock. Meanwhile, stutterpated, sour-pop sidles up to melancholic stunners.
