After 20 years spinning records around the world, French-Italian DJ and producer Tony Finger has picked the Mother City as base camp, bringing his blend of cool electro and sexy Continental house to thrill local party people.

With residencies and guest appearances in London, Paris, Moscow, Lisbon and Eastern Europe, Tony has held his own alongside international house legends Bob Sinclar, Daft Punk, Superfunk, Ron Carroll, Junior Sanchez, Boy George and Deep Dish. And he was a firm favourite amongst fashionistas at the Paris Fashion Week for many years!

Tony’s nurtured his passion for electronic beats since the tender age of 16, when he bought his first turn tables. Since then he’s traversed many musical genres, counting his influences from Donna Summers’ disco to Kraftwerk’s synth 80s electro. Much of Tony’s musical genius grew from the sounds of Paris – Daft Punk, Etienne de Crecy, Bob Sinclar and Superfunk.

Tony’s legendary flair behind the decks has already landed him top gigs on the local scene, with Goldfish, Dino Moran, Craig De Sousa, Roger Goode and Coda. Tony’s also a regular hit at Cape Town hotspots FTV and the MBAR, where he host a residency SEXY ELECTRO LOUNGE.

Tony’s latest venture is Touch It Records, a global record label specializing in Electro, House and Lounge. Founded at the end of 2006, the label has already released a string of dancefloor hits including latest offering COME TO ME or FREE YOUR MIND, a super sexy electro tracks available for download on DJDownload, Junodownload, Trackitdown and many more. NO POP MUSIC (single from the upcoming album in 2008) did reach n.15 on djdownload.com Top 100 chart after only a week. GO, a funky electro tune with an addictive bassline features the sweet vocals of Ansa Theron.

SAY YOU LOVE ME, Touch It Records’ first release, is a groovy piece notable for the sultry vocals by well-known Cape Town artiste Odidi. The track has been included on the “ZOO CLUB – Sundayz” vol.3 album.

Tony’s musical talent extends beyond the decks to his weekly radio show ROCK DA HOUSE (check out www.soundrepublic.co.za for details), and regular guest slots with The Nightwatchmen on Good Hope FM.

On top of all that, Tony is also finding time to design ringtones for Cadbury’s hot new media campaign as well as AXEJet, a party airline heading for Ibiza!
