UES Artist Bio

Andrea is well known as Under Electric Shock (UES)

Grown up in a small village in Southern Italy, he is considered to be an actual talent in the flourishing italian and european minimal house scene. In 2005, after moving to Bologna, the counting number of successful live and studio session consacrated him as a true precursor of sweet and mental sounds, combined with percussive grooves and powerful basslines.

In the last couple of year he spent his time doing new music and performing in places such as Mbar (Helsinki) Watergate (Berlin) City Hall and Be Cool (Barcelona) among the italian residency at beloved Cassero.

His first 12” for LED (Link Electronic Dept label) released in 2008 and remixed by Touane(Resopal, Liebe*Detail) was supported by artists like Ellen Allien, Ben Klock, Mathias Kaden, Johnny D, Nick Curly, Xpansul. At the end of the year Andrea moved away from Italy to reach the much more stimulating city of Berlin to push his music to the next level. His Lusaka EP get immediately signed by Resopal Schallware in december and these tracks will be played by artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Mathias Kaden, Tobi Neumann, Onur Ozer, Ilario Alicante, Thomas Schumacher, Danny Fiddo, among others.
