Vidis Artist Bio

Professional DJ since 2002 Vidis took scene by the storm playing lounges, clubs and festivals in all major Lithuanian cities ever since, as well as doing gigs in Germany, Russia, Sweden, Latvia and Estonia.

What makes Vidis obviously different from the others is his style and attitude. With his wide-ranging knowledge of music he blurs the lines of house in every single DJ set.

No wonder he supports Lithuanian performances of the artists as diverse as Dave Seaman, Satoshi Tomiie, Terry Francis, Ian Pooley, Michael Gray (Full Intention), Sandy Rivera (Kings of Tomorrow), Paul Murphy (Afro Art), Rhythm Doctor, Kevin Yost, Phil Hartnol (Orbital) or even Peter Hook (New Order/ Joy Division).

2004 saw Vidis getting into active event promotion. During the last few years he has brought along some of dance music mavericks to rock Lithuanian crowds. Jazzanova, Ame, Dixon, DJ Deep, Atjazz, Charles Webster, I:Cube & Gilb’r a.k.a. Château Flight, Mikael Nordgren a.k.a. Tiger Stripes, S.U.M.O., Rune Lindbaek and Daniel Wang are just the best known ones.

Vidis has recently got going weekly radio show 11: one one on ZIP FM to share his music, knowledge and passion.

Guided by the slogan Never Enough, Vidis as well contributes to a new and one and only music magazine in Lithuania UrbaNation.
