Virak Artist Bio

Virak was formed in Copenhagen during a cold winter, early 2002 by Martin Ejlertsen (guitars, vocals), Peter Dyring-Olsen (drums) and Christian Kühne (bass). This constellation embarked on a detailed vision for creating music with a tuneful sense and sound that wouldn’t feel restraints from any particular genre or stereotypical template. A musical direction, which benefitted the band greatly leading them through several years of, not only vibrant liveshows, a critically acclaimed ep release, but also the very initiations that was the beginning of their debut album entitled “Threads”.

After years of dedicated attention, drummer – Peter left virak shortly after the recordings of Threads were completed, in order to spend more time with his growing family. In mid 2007 Peter was replaced by Alf Lenni Erlandsen, a drummer whom over the years have served several musical paths in a wide array of bands. Read more on Last.fm.
